Reason 101 Nantucket is pure magic: eternal summer. I'm all in for a 55 and sunny December. And these clouds!

And did you know: this gorgeous seaside view is a college campus. The UMass Boston Nantucket Semester is a once in a lifetime summer experience open to undergrads of any major. Like study abroad, you live here, with this view from your dorm, and participate in environmental science to leverage the rich cultural, human, and natural resources of Nantucket. And what do you study exactly? Ornithology (my GGs favorite pastime) Climate Change, Coastal Ecology, Marine Mammal Biology...and...wait for it - Spiders of Nantucket - are all slated for 2021.

First we finish painting and decorating, the photographer arrives, then the website launches. We are so thrilled so many are already booking for family getaways - because nothing feels and nothing heals like this faraway island 30 miles out at sea.
