🌱 Game, Image, Task 12:30-2pm

An approachable, training-agnostic way to view and create contemporary physical performance. Under this framework, we think of game, image, and task as three distinct modes of action in performance: what a performer does. No experience required, all disciplines welcome. 18+.

💥 Toss & Towers 2:30-4pm

In this workshop we will focus on toss (swing) and towers (stacks, two highs, three highs). We’ll cover more traditional skills and work our way up to some lesser known combos. Come prepared to play in groups. 18+.

💕 Acro Jam 4-5:30pm (donation based / PWYC)

This acro jam is open to anyone with at least some previous acro experience! Bring something to work on or seek inspiration day-of with Kevin, Sierra, and Liam of Full Out Formula.

Chloe Zabicki is an aerialist who specializes in trapeze, lyra, and silks. Her exploration of space and movement is joyful. Chloe began her artistic career by studying ballet and ballroom dancing as a child, and throughout high school and college. Chloe began training circus in Chicago with a focus on static trapeze, single point trapeze, and pogo jumping. She has worked with a variety of coaches who have helped her to develop her technique and aesthetic.

More about Ava:

Ava is a theatrical wiggly contortion person. Ava utilizes their wiggles and flexibility to perform human actions. In Ava’s work they make the human a little inhuman while still being very much human. Ava believes being a human is beautiful, and therefore it should be displayed on stage. Ava believes storytelling about the good, bad and ugly of a human day and life is important for themselves and audiences.

Two Cyr Wheel devotees ride the line between wreaking havoc and finding balance in this piece’s debut. An earnest and playful creation composed of movement motifs, puzzles, and a small hope for things going a little bit wrong. We seek creation as a form of protest, of play, and in pursuit of exposing (and nurturing) vulnerabilities in ourselves and in our audiences.
