We’re going to be honest about something. There was a time when our anxiousness got in the way of our creativity. We used to feel a pit in our stomachs before every photo shoot.

It has taken us 9 years of being in business as photographers to overcome fear, anxiety, and self-doubt. And guess what...it still comes up from time to time. But what’s different now is that we know how to overcome these things and move past them versus “just dealing with it.”

We have been on a journey of health and wellness for years now, and an integral part of that journey has been centered on self-development––addressing trapped emotions, childhood traumas, fears, stories that we tell ourselves, and taking a long hard look at wounds that need to heal.

The pressure on creatives is high...the need to deliver, to be constantly creative, opening up to have our work judged, struggling with pricing, to be “on,” to be visible on social media...it’s a lot to manage. And all of these things, even the smallest day-to-day moments (did a client email p**s you off?), build up in our minds and our bodies and leave a heavy imprint on us.

So we want to be real, and say that if you are dealing with these things or if any of this resonates with you. We hear you.
