We joined Rep. Bill Foster, the Housing Opportunity Development Corporation, McHenry County Government leaders, and local partners for a tour and roundtable discussion at Taylor Place Apartments, a workforce housing development in McHenry, Illinois. The discussion focused on the need for affordable workforce housing across the region and the role partnerships play in expanding access to safe, stable and affordable homes.
Supported by a $1 million grant from FHLBank Chicago’s Affordable Housing Program General Fund through member Crystal Lake Bank & Trust, Taylor Place shows how collaboration among affordable housing developers, financial institutions, local government and community partners can create lasting opportunities for individuals and families while enhancing economic development.
Together, we’re helping expand housing opportunities that strengthen communities and support long-term stability for residents across the region. https://bit.ly/4eUBSeT
