After holding in the secret for weeks, I finally get to spread the happy news that my pals, Sabrina and Hunter are engaged! I was lucky to photograph such a sweet proposal—one that even included Sab’s doggo joining in on the surprise! From the thoughtful planning and consideration of the people and places that would make this moment special for Sab, Hunter really did a great job.

My favorite part was how guests at ANOTHER wedding celebration were eager to help me blend in and not be spotted as I waited with my camera for my proposal shoot to start. Said celebration was happening in the same spot as the proposal was supposed to be and Hunter had to pivot his plans on the fly. He ended up finding a tucked away bench that worked perfectly and with the cover of my new friends, I was able to tail Hunter and Sab without being spotted. I was SO sneaky in fact, that Hunter actually paused his speech to text me and make sure I knew where they were. Meanwhile, I was just shooting away.😆

Shannon & Caleb couldn’t have been sweeter during this proposal shoot on the iconic rooftop of . It was a blast to shoot the unfolding surprise and elation between them as Caleb popped the question.

I love my job, but especially when the romance is so genuine it shines through every pic.
