Born in Cook County Hospital and raised in Shacktown—a place so poor we had an outhouse in-house. My parents came to Illinois chasing opportunity, raising 15 siblings under one roof. Through it all, we thrived, and today, my oldest brother is 80 and still going strong.

A testament to resilience, family, and strength. 💪
