Found a Korean bbq that specializes in pork cuts-belly, jowl, and collar. Dry aged. Iberico. Mushroom bbq and egg soufflé and their own dondon beer! The server cooked and served, giving us a guide to which sauces were best with each cut. So much delicious!

The New York food tour continues. Honestly I couldn’t think of a more fun way to do a birthday weekend than re-visiting old haunts and making new memories with my family! Love that I can enjoy NYC as a visitor with .benjakul and my son living in the same city I did at their age! Loved the extra textures and flavor combinations and flavor bombs at this inventive Israeli restaurant. We shared hummus with mushroom, whipped feta, fried olives with harissa, calamari with lamb belly and black chickpeas, cauliflower, grilled prawns, brick chicken with muhamarra and Yemenite soup dumplings. Whew!!! And the drinks….pistachio arak. Wow!
