Recently our Denver, Colorado, teammates used their group time off at Max Fund Animal Shelter. Our team to build new kennels for larger dogs and enhance the safety of indoor spaces.
The highlight of the day was spending quality time with the adoptable animals, making all the hard work worthwhile! Big shout-out to everyone who helped make the shelter a little cozier! 🐾❤️

Tomorrow is , and we’re celebrating the STEM pros who keep construction projects moving, from engineering to inspection! 📐🚧 Recently, our team joined nearly 2,000 high schoolers at South Florida Construction Career Days, an event that shows students opportunities in this ever-growing field. They got experience with hands-on labs, mock interviews, and even a “chocolate asphalt” demo that was a total hit! 🍫
Big thanks to Florida Department of Transportation, FTBA, and the many other consultants and contractors for putting on this event. It’s inspiring to see students envision their future in STEM roles and the impact they can make in the industry!

The 🌊 ocean 🏄 has always been a constant for Ikaika Kincaid. Growing up on Oahu, Ikaika developed a profound connection to the sea through scuba diving and surfing. This connection evolved into a career that blends engineering and environmental stewardship. In addition to leading thriving structural assessment and transportation planning and design teams in Hawaii, Ikaika is building a coastal engineering practice deeply rooted in the challenges of island life.
Pairing his diving roots and coastal engineering background, Ikaika is collaborating with his team to provide resilient solutions for shorelines and critical infrastructure, like marinas, docks, piers, and harbors. Protecting our vulnerable coastlines from erosion and rising sea levels helps our communities, in and out of the water. Talk about living Consor’s core value of !
Outside of work, Ikaika’s connection to his culture and the ocean continues through his participation as the president of the Hawaiian Sailing Canoe Association. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Elizabeth Kincaid, a transportation planner at Consor who shares his commitment to community-focused infrastructure solutions.
