Tank Noodle is the heart and soul of Mamma Ly, a longtime neighbor and pillar of our Uptown community. Since the late 90s, she has poured her passion into the Argyle streetscape—first through fashion and later through the comforting flavors of her heritage. As a Vietnamese woman who built her dreams from the ground up, Mamma Ly hasn't just opened a restaurant; she has created a beloved Chicago institution where every guest feels like family.
