Her advice? Never stop messing things up.

Get your feet wet. Try a tool you don't understand, build a rough framework, fail, and try again.

Look at what other great agencies are specializing in. Look at opposing points of view. If you find yourself holding on to a specific marketing belief for too long, actively challenge it. See if someone out there is approaching the same business problem from a completely different angle.

True expertise isn't about having all the right answers on day one. It is about having the curiosity to find them when the old way of doing things stops working.
