Hydra form ball project. 20 GA. Mild steel. TIG welded. Pressurized with power washer.

The $720 was just for labor. She paid for materials separately.
So my mother in law had a carport installed at her house. Guy stopped by today and asked for her to pay him $720. I told her not to pay him. I’m no professional,but obviously the welds are s**t. Every joint looks like this. But the support beams are cast iron and the roof support is galvanized. I’m concerned this thing is going to blow apart with a half decent wind. Should we hire someone to tear it down and start over? My gut says yes, but she wants professionals to weigh in before she has it torn down. If you are a legit welder, please share your opinion so I can show her.
