Dr. Cynthia LaBella recently released a report through the American Academy of Pediatrics analyzing the causes and effects of ACL injuries in girls. The report states that girls have up to six times more ACL injuries than boys in similar sports, and are more likely to have surgery than boys. ( http://goo.gl/H9EbXZ) Luckily, Dr. LaBella's team provides training programs for girls and their coaches so they can learn to avoid ACL injuries. Learn more: http://goo.gl/pdlEs3
