March 24, 1966 - August 7, 2022

It is with tremendous shock and sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend and business partner Ed Linn. He left us early Sunday morning surrounded by his family after a brief battle with cancer.

All who met Ed whether as a client, vendor, co-worker, consultant, or fellow professinal soon called him a friend. He was able to connect on a personal level with everyone he encountered both personally and professionally. He could always find time if somebody needed help, or to talk.

Ed joined the Chicago Design Network team on April 1, 1993 and put his heart and soul into everything he did both in the office and beyond. His passion for architecture and the built environment knew no boundaries. His curiosity was endless. Any problem could be solved with just a little more research or by asking a few more questions.

His passing leaves a giant tear in the fabric of so many lives. We will miss his quick smile and comforting words.

As many of you know, Ed had a huge heart for helping others. We will be sharing details on his memorial and where you can donate in his memory as they become available. In the mean time hug the ones you love. Life is precious.
