Edesia & The Mayan Health Initiative are working together to end malnutrition in the rural areas of Guatemala.

Edesia is a proud partner of Mayan Health Initiative, who are addressing malnutrition in Guatemala — where one in every two children suffers from chronic malnutrition (UNICEF). With Edesia-donated Plumpy’Nut, MHI, in coordination with other local NGOs, are able to reach children in remote areas of the country, who would otherwise not have received these life-saving products.

Food is a pathway to peace.

In David Beasley's 2020 acceptance speech for the Nobel Peace Prize, he warned that the combination of conflict, the climate crisis, and COVID-19 could push millions to the brink of starvation. He shared that when we don't have enough money or access, we have to decide which children eat and which do not, which children live, and which children die. Let's create a world where we don't have to make those decisions anymore by feeding them all. Food is the pathway to peace. .beasley__
