Backstory, the happiest time of my life has been since I took a break from posting for months.
I know tons of creators that have been posting for years consistently and still don’t have 10k followers. All I’m saying is, this isn’t designed for everyone to win.
That’s why I’m thankful for my relationship with Jesus, rest, time with family, and moments like this in the sauna to relieve some stress.
I pray that you find purpose in your life so that no matter how you decide to show up in the world, you can be running the race instead of running on a hamster wheel.
Last thought, I am not saying I’m getting off social media, but my mindset is different. I’ll post when I want and live my life ✌🏽

As Valentine’s Day comes closer, I want to encourage you with this sis…
If you knew me years ago, you would have not thought that there was hope for me to “get it together”
If you knew what I came from… family issues from drugs in the house to domestic violence and abuse… you would think that I was headed in the same direction…
If you knew that I was not “trained” to know how to pick a good man, you would assume that I would be lost out in these streets…
In case your algorithm has only been showing you narratives of triflin’ men, dysfunctional relationships, or unrealistic expectations for relationships, know this… 👇🏽
❤️ Be determined to find a healthy relationship and mute the noise that wants you to believe otherwise
❤️ Seek both professional therapy and spiritual wellness to release the pain that may be warping your decision making
❤️ Evaluate your own beliefs about relationships (including theological beliefs that may be misinformed and hurting you. Check out to improve your biblical literacy)
❤️ Learn to enjoy yourself now bc listen… no matter if you’re single or married, you are going to have to learn how to find peace and contentment in EVERY season
