Second Lieutenant Jacqueline “Jacky” Salgado graduates from the University of Illinois Chicago with a Master’s in Public Administration.

LT Salgado’s rank was pinned by her siblings, Jonathan and Julianna Salgado, while her first salute was rendered by SGT (Ret.) Jose Luis Ramos.

She has branched Adjutant General Corps and will serve in the Illinois Army National Guard.

Through dedication, perseverance, and leadership, LT Salgado has earned this achievement and now steps forward ready to lead and serve. Fire Battalion is proud to recognize one of our own.

Second Lieutenant Vanessa Pineda graduates from the University of Illinois Chicago with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with distinction.

LT Pineda’s rank was pinned by her parents, Paulina and Gregorio Morales, while her first salute was rendered by MSG (Ret.) Berdy Moreira.

She has branched Medical Service Corps and will serve in the Illinois Army National Guard.

Second Lieutenant Max Kosowicz graduates from the University of Illinois Chicago with a Bachelor of Science in Information and Decision Sciences.

He has branched Adjutant General Corps and will serve in the United States Army Reserve.

Second Lieutenant Siddea Jabbi graduates from the University of Illinois Chicago with a Master’s in Health Care Administration.

LT Jabbi’s rank was pinned by his sisters, Nama and Haja Jabbi, while his first salute was rendered by MSG Edward Petrich.

He has branched Signal Corps and will serve on Active Duty with the 2nd Multi-Domain Task Force in Wiesbaden, Germany.
