HUMAN BLOOM is a Chicago-based collective of musicians led by the eclectic writings of Jackson Shepard and Imani Rousselle.
Raised on Stevie Wonder, Radiohead, Herbie Hancock, and Flying Lotus, the group creates music that is rooted in soul-jazz-fusion, but also explores electronica, folk, and music from all over the world.

Imani & Jackson met at Colombia college where they started their artistic collaboration. Imani Rousselle continued her music career and received her Master's at the Manhattan School of Music and has been touring around the country singing with a Swing Jazz Band. Jackson Shepard has been picked up to perform on the show "The Chi' performing with well known bands and recently performed on stage for this year's Lollapalooza with J-Hope.
