Many music industry insiders noted the direct effect a “Buzz Bin” selection had on album sales at the time, with some sources stating that upwards of 75% of the selected artists went on to achieve RIAA Gold Certification (500,000 albums sold) or better. It’s the The Buzz Worthys’ mission at every performance to recreate the songs from these classic grunge, alternative, and post-grunge bands as accurately as possible because once the flannel shirts, ripped jeans, cargo shorts, and Doc Martens went out of style – and many of our heroes were tragically lost to drug addiction or su***de – it was the music that continued to persevere. The Buzz Worthys is comprised of an all-star group of veteran Chicago musicians: Adam Runnels (Battle Yacht / Rocket Surgery) – vocals, Chris Paxhia (Malpractice LTD / Sour Mash) – guitar, Drew Nolan (Me & The Fellas) - bass, and Chris Zahnle – drums. Each of the members have already rocked some of the most well-known venues in Chicago and across the country - and opened for many accomplished national touring bands and musicians.
