This month - we’re highlighting West Chester University’s MSA in West Chester, Pennsylvania.📍
The WCU MSA Annual Ramadan Iftar Banquet was the signature Ramadan program and one of the largest events hosted by the organization every year. The evening brings together students, faculty, community members, and neighboring MSAs for a formal iftar gathering on campus! They are honored to build connections between students across the greater Philadelphia area and elevate the presence of Muslim student life at West Chester University.
“We want to connect with Muslims and Non-Muslims on campus, and create a meaningful and welcoming space for Muslim students to break their fast together during Ramadan. This is a chance for people to share our religion with their Non-Muslim friends, professors, and the community.
We aim to raise awareness about Ramadan and its spiritual significance across campus, and strengthen unity and collaboration: this event also serves as our annual Inter-MSA Iftar, where we invite neighboring MSAs including Temple University MSA, Drexel University MSA, and Penn MSA during an Inter-MSA Week of Iftars across Philly Campuses!
Each year, the banquet serves as one of the largest events for WCU MSA — uniting campuses, celebrating Ramadan with the community, and fostering a strong sense of unity on our campus and beyond.”
