Chicago Barons Social Club
The Barons, originally called the "Brooklyn Barons Social Club," was founded in Brooklyn in September 2008 by four digital media pros who were tired of typical industry parties. The idea was to bring together the best and brightest people in the business without having to deal with over-hyped media events, sleazy sales reps and spray-tanned junior planners who used words like "digerati."
