I want to start by saying a heartfelt thank you to all of you—my friends, my relatives, and especially my followers from Shillong.
You have given me the courage to share so many stories, most of them deeply personal. This journey, from my childhood in Shillong to the woman I am today, has shaped me and inspired me to document the chapters of my life. The memories of growing up as a little girl, and the many "fragrances" that have touched my soul, have stayed with me forever as I work toward publishing my book.
The chapters are written and the editing is now underway! ✍️ 📖
I hope and pray that you will enjoy the stories I’ve already shared, as well as the many new ones yet to come. To truly concentrate on these finishing touches, I will be taking a few months away from Facebook. I plan to return once the book is ready.
The image I’m sharing is a trial cover—perhaps it will remain the same, or perhaps I’ll refine it further. I hope that when I return, you will be as moved by the fragrance of Shillong as I have been; it is a scent I have carried with me always, whether in India or the USA.

From Guwahati with Love 🌸
They say you can take a person out of Shillong, but you can’t take the love of flowers out of their soul. Moving is always an adventure, and for me, it is a chance to make something bloom wherever I am planted.
From growing flowers in the front and vegetables in the backyard of my homes in the USA, to finding sanctuaries in India, the process of nurturing green life has always been deeply therapeutic and grounding for me.
Today, I feel absolutely blessed. My 13th home is not just a house; it is a space that is already enveloped by the fragrance of love and the beautifully tended flowers that bring so much peace.
Feeling incredibly grateful for this new chapter in Guwahati and the gentle reminder that no matter how many times we start over, home is truly where the heart is. ✨🏡

Aura’s hand is a map of her own making—a quiet collection of milestones and memories. 🕊️✨
The eagle tattoo on her forearm is her anchor, a reminder to rise above the noise and keep the perspective of the sky. Above it, the silver bangles—found in a hidden artisan loft in Chicago—clink with the rhythm of the city where she first rediscovered her independence.
And then, the Freedom Ring. A brilliant diamond she placed on her own finger as a vow: to never shrink for anyone else again.
From the wings that carry her to the silver that sings with her movement, every piece tells the story of a woman who finally learned how to hold her own world.
