Just wrapped up a Zumba class and wow—what a powerful reminder that music has always been a part of me. 💃🏽 I’m sharing this because maybe someone else out there needs to hear it too (but also let’s bring back genuine real feeling IG posting): you are not just your career. That’s just one small piece of who you are. ✨
We’re all layered, complex, and multidimensional. And it’s so important to step back sometimes—to detox your mind and body, and reconnect with the parts of you that bring you joy, not just productivity.
If you’ve been caught up in the grind, this is your reminder to pause. Do something today that’s JUST for you—something that feeds your soul and has nothing to do with your to-do list. 💗
Self-care isn’t selfish—it’s essential. And trust me, I know how easy it is to forget that.
PS: I once used to be a certified Zumba instructor. I feel like I’ve lived 10 lives I swear 😆
