I kind of want to stress the resilience piece. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve had my fair share of mental health challenges and I understand how hard it can be to pick yourself back up, no matter what you may have accomplished or failed at in the past.

The gym is a safe haven for many for various different reasons. It’s not just for the love of feeling alive with our blood pumping strongly through our veins. It’s a special place where we get to build ourselves up on our own terms. We train to get stronger, mentally and physically.

Life will always throw unexpected challenges our way. It’s a gift to be able to create challenges within our control and prove to ourselves that we can accomplish anything. It is a constant reminder that in life, everything requires patience and hard work and endurance.

We know we don’t always feel like going to the gym, but it’s always worth it in the end. Apply that lesson to all the “harder” things in life 💜
