The Great Lakes Region (GLR) of The Embroiderers' Guild of America (EGA), has over 1,400 members in 50 chapters across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin. Our chapter was formed in 1981 and we currently have 31 members.

Details of the quilt our former member Suzanne, now in Ireland, made while she was thinking of us! Are we Wacky Women? I guess we are!

What happens when a former member now living in Ireland comes to visit? She brings a quilt inspired by the "Wacky Women" of Windy City. So glad to see Suzanne again, and so delighted that so many of our new members got to appreciate our history of shared love of needlecraft!
