After innumerable contemplation I've decided to put a personal piece of work into the world. Thanks for anyone who lended their mind to the process, those who were patient for the completion and those willing to partake in the conversation going forward. Write of Passage is a collection that I shot one year ago in Ghana during an ongoing standoff with contemplation. Figuring out my place between the experience of here and there, before and after. Trying to understand the burns and dodges of negatives I did not develop and the reflection of a mirror I did not break — yet a picture that I am very much apart of. In all, I wanted to investigate the cascade of knowledge and behaviors fated by our ancestors to learn where lies flaw, growth and responsibility.
