We have some exciting news to share: Chicago Therapy Collective has officially reached the goal for our first annual Therapy Drive!🎉
Thanks to the support of our community, CTC is now able to fund 500 therapy sessions for LGBTQ+ community members who are uninsured or may otherwise go without access to care.
But we’re not stopping there. Today, we’re setting a new goal: 1,000 funded therapy sessions by July 31.
That means expanding access for people like the college student whose insurance is out of network everywhere, or the restaurant worker who earns just enough to miss Medicaid eligibility but still can’t afford consistent care.

We’re proud to announce our collaboration with **emarch
CTC is going to D**e March this year! Our own Albe Gutierrez (MAATC, BFA) will be providing a decompression space with guided meditation and item crafting in Dvorak Park (Pilsen) from 2pm to 4pm. We will also have a table where you can get more information on our therapy services and how to connect with us. CTC is happy to see Chicago D**e March come back and make space for d**e liberation and marginalized communities!

This past weekend, CTC’s Iggy Ladden got to speak at Chicago Pride Fest, sharing the importance of community mental health support!
As we enter the last week of Pride Month, our team is continuing our work to bring more therapy to more people in the LGBTQ+ community🌈✊🏽
Today, CTC had the honor of joining the Andre Vasquez and community members for the groundbreaking of Elise Malary Plaza at the corner of Clark and Catalpa in Andersonville 🎉
This historic moment represents not only a permanent tribute to the life and legacy of Elise Malary, but also a commitment to creating public spaces that affirm, celebrate, and protect transgender and gender-expansive people 🏳️⚧️
As an organization dedicated to expanding access to LGBTQIA+ affirming mental health care, we are proud to witness and support investments in visibility, belonging, and community. We look forward to seeing Elise Malary Plaza become a place of reflection, connection, and joy for years to come ❤️
