Chanel Sims, Park Supervisor at Tuley Park Cultural Center, is running for the Chicago Park District Pension Board. With more than 25 years of service, Chanel has the dedication and leadership needed to protect our pensions and ensure the Park District pays its fair share.
There are currently no SEIU Local 73 members on the Board, even though we make up 80% of Park District employees. It’s time for us to have a voice on the Board and a say in our future. Chanel will fight for the health of your pension so you can retire comfortably. She will uphold our union’s principles and defend our members.
Voting begins June 10 and ends June 26. Chanel Sims is a dedicated candidate who will work hard for all Park District workers. Make your voice heard and vote Chanel!
