This is insane.
106 rabbits rescued by Dumped Bunny since Easter. This number only reflects those bunnies who were lucky enough to be rescued. There are so many that were never reported, never saved.
And yet the pet stores and breeders just keep on selling them for the $$$ and cruelty becomes the norm.
Starsky and Hutch were abandoned outside a police precinct on the south side of Chicago. It took 8 officers to catch them!
The Fridge was found in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood. Luckily he ended up in the hands of a Red Door Foster mom. Thank you Samantha for holding onto him until we had space at the shelter.

Whisk came from Laporte, Indiana. Everyone in Indiana thought it was a wild rabbit, but rabbit savvy rescuers from Dumped bunny knew better. Although he has the same agouti coloring as awild rabbit, the white sleeve on his front leg makes him a domestic Dutch bunny
