We offer a pair of Vintage studios that house a Sphere Eclipse C in our A studio and a Trident 80B in a our B room, we have a wide selection of Vintage outboard gear, tape machines, and guitar amplifiers, not to mention one of the best Microphone collections in the Midwest. With decades of personal experience behind us, Engine has a 12 year history of working with some of the brightest and best artists of our day. Engine is owned and operated by Jep Thornton, John Humphrey and Brian Deck.

Engine Studios shut its doors permanently in May of 2012. This page exists as a reminder of all who worked there- from the ownership, management, staff and clients who made the great music created there over 13 years a possibility. If you know someone who worked there or dig a record made there, please give us a like!..

IF you think you have analog tape masters at Engine, please get ahold of me...I've sent out numerous requests for people to pick up there reels over the years, this time for real its bulk erase or the dumpster. I have very very few reel pre-2000 (they must have went in early purges) but but post 2000 recorded at Engine its probably here if you left..come get it please! if you want a digital transfer we can do it for short period of time cheap..but get ahold of me ASAP.
