Our team is growing, and we're looking for a Director of Philanthropy to serve as our senior advancement leader and the President's closest partner in donor strategy, cultivation, and stewardship.

At Bexley Seabury Seminary, we're forming leaders who embody the Gospel with clarity, courage, and compassion. With a new President driving a bold vision for our future, this is a rare opportunity to shape the philanthropic foundation of our theologically distinctive institution.

The ideal candidate brings:
✅ 7–10+ years of fundraising experience with a strong major gifts track record
✅ Experience partnering with executive leadership on donor strategy
✅ A relational, empathetic presence that builds trust
✅ Deep resonance with our mission to form Gospel-centered leaders rooted in justice and compassion

Our 2026 Pedagogy Workshop brought together all 6 Summer Session faculty at Austin Seminary! Through engaging discussions on pedagogy and hands-on work refining syllabi, faculty drew on their years of teaching while exchanging resources, strategies, and best practices. Building on this shared work, we’re sharing a reading list from the workshop over the next several weeks—offering a collection of readings recommended by Summer Session faculty and HSP staff that have shaped their own approaches to teaching in and beyond the classroom.⁠
