To celebrate, we teamed up with our friends at the West Town Chamber to brew a beer worthy of the neighborhood.

Bright, refreshing, and loaded with citrus and tropical character, it’s built for sunny days, good music, and wandering Division Street with a beer in hand.

Say Ahoj! to Žatec, our Czech style amber lager🍺
This malt‑forward, amber lager has notes of toasted bread, light caramel, and subtle sweetness, countered by classic Saaz spice, earthiness, and a crisp finish.

Carlos has been part of the Forbidden Root family since the very beginning. He’s an incredible teammate, friend, and a vital part of our community. Recently, Carlos was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer, and he’s beginning a difficult journey that will include surgeries and chemotherapy.
A GoFundMe has been created to help cover medical and living expenses during treatment. If you’re able to donate, share his page, or keep him in your thoughts, it would mean so much to him and to all of us.
We’ll also be organizing additional fundraising events and ways to support him in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
We love you, Carlos, and we’re behind you every step of the way. ❤️
