It is almost 2 a.m., and I am still awake, working on my goals and building the future I pray for.
Some days are hard. Some nights are long. Sometimes the journey feels uncertain. But I am learning to trust the process and, above all, trust God.
Dear friend, don’t give up. Keep showing up. Keep believing. Keep working. Keep praying. Your journey may not be easy, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth it.
As for me, Sis Debby is not giving up anytime soon!
I have come too far to stop now. God has been faithful, and I believe the best is still ahead.
We move by faith. We work with purpose. And we don’t give up.

One lesson I’ve learned on this journey…
Many people think the biggest challenge in pursuing your dreams is a lack of money.
Sometimes, it’s not.
Sometimes, the biggest challenge is having to constantly depend on someone else.
There is a different kind of peace that comes from knowing you can stand on your own feet. It gives you confidence, dignity, and the freedom to make decisions without fear.
There were moments I looked at my life and quietly said to myself:
“I won’t give up. One day, I will earn my own income, build the life I dream of, and become a blessing to others.”
That decision changed my mindset.
If you’re preparing to study abroad, don’t just focus on getting an admission or a visa. Focus on building yourself. Develop valuable skills. Work hard. Keep learning. Position yourself to become financially independent.
Your goal shouldn’t be to become rich overnight. Your goal should be to become valuable. When you become valuable, opportunities follow.
Never stop investing in yourself. Every course you take, every skill you learn, every application you submit, and every challenge you overcome is preparing you for the life you’re praying for.
Your current situation is not your final destination.
Keep telling yourself: “I won’t give up.”
One day, you’ll look back and realize that every sacrifice, every tear, every rejection, and every sleepless night was preparing you for the life God had in store for you.
Keep going. Your breakthrough may be closer than you think.

FALL 2027 APPLICATION SEASON IS ALMOST HERE!
My wonderful people, the Fall 2027 admission cycle will begin opening around August, and many of you are already preparing your applications.
As you get your documents ready, please avoid the temptation to use fake documents, inflate your achievements, or tell lies in your résumé, statement of purpose, or any part of your application.
Let me share a personal experience.
During one of my PhD interview processes, the professor interviewed me extensively. When I say extensively, I mean he went through my résumé and statement of purpose line by line. He asked detailed questions about my academic background, work experience, research interests, achievements, and virtually everything I had written in my application.
The interview was so intense that afterward I was completely exhausted. I had spent days preparing and barely sleeping. By the time it was over, I felt weak and even developed a fever from the stress and intensity of the process.
Now imagine if I had included false information in my documents. I would have been exposed immediately and embarrassed myself before the admissions committee.
The good news? I was eventually offered admission with full funding. Although I later accepted another offer, that experience taught me a valuable lesson:
Be truthful.
Be authentic.
Let your real story speak for you.
Admissions committees, professors, and interview panels are experienced. They know how to verify information, and many of them will ask detailed questions to confirm what you have written.
Remember: A genuine application may not be perfect, but it is always better than a fabricated one.
Your honesty can open doors that deception never will.
As you prepare for Fall 2027 applications, focus on building a strong and authentic profile. The right opportunity will find you.
Best wishes to everyone preparing for the upcoming admission season. Your journey starts now.
