Justin Lucas Group
Came to Minneapolis for my nephew’s wedding, but as a real estate guy I couldn’t help geeking out over the house we stayed in.
This place is called The Blacksmith House, and it’s one of those properties that reminds you why I love real estate so much.
Originally built in 1890 as a working blacksmith forge, the building has been thoughtfully transformed into a one-of-a-kind residence while preserving much of its historic character. From the original industrial details and massive timber beams to the private courtyard, rooftop deck, and Finnish sauna, every space tells a story.
My favorite part? You’re literally staying inside a piece of Minneapolis history. Some of the original beams still carry marks from the forge that operated here more than 130 years ago.
Properties like this are a reminder that great real estate isn’t just about location, it’s about preserving history while creating an unforgettable experience for the next generation.
Oh, and congrats to Ryan and Jenny! 🥂
