We revitalize the community by offering at-risk children and young adults exposure to math, science, literacy, foreign language, and physical exercise. We work closely with the neighborhood to provide our students with afterschool and weekend programs, helping to thwart crime and violence.

Peace Fam. Yesterday 13 people were shot (including a 3 year old baby) in a park a few blocks away from where we're scheduled to have C-Medina's Love Your People Day this Sunday. I just got off the phone with the Alderman's office. I'll also have to speak with my 7 and the rest of the organizers regarding whether or not we need to cancel or postpone. We're very concerned about the safety of the children who were looking forward to attending Love Your People Day (LYPD). We'll keep everyone posted.
