This is, indeed, simplicity at its best; but you'll often find that this theme is somewhat hard to locate in the "artificial" society that we live in today. Even though this seems to become the "norm", you will soon see the light at the end of tunnel once you experience the sounds of the 27 year old Chicago native, Feeljones. With his catchy melodies and well-crafted lyrics placed on top of his Hi
p-Hop influenced drum beats, you'll be sure to know that this #JesusMusic is here for good and will continue to keep you lifted up. Born and raised on the Westside of Chicago, Feeljones started singing at a young age in the children's choir at his parent's church. There, his mother taught simple church songs for the kids to sing while she played the piano during the morning services. From that point, “Feel” developed a strong love for singing and the piano. So much so, that he started taking piano and organ lessons to enhance his natural ability to play by ear and also learned to read sheet music. Developing a comfort with the instrument, he soon started playing for the children's choir while still being a child himself. Going into high school, “Feel” became a member of the internationally known children’s group, Walt Whitman and the Soul Children of Chicago. During this time, “Feel” developed a greater love for God by tapping in to the ”worshipper” deep within himself. “Feel” had also been given several opportunities to sing lead with the group and also be a part of many events that would intensify his love for music. Such events include singing for the National Black Caucus of State Legislators, studio and voice over work and being a part of R. Kelly’s music video for his single “The World’s Greatest” that was also featured in the motion picture “ALI”, a biopic about the life of famed boxer Muhammad Ali. Developing his production and writing while attending Columbia College Chicago, “Feel” began to garner a lot of attention from local Chicago talents on the rise and started singing the hooks to their songs. One group in particular, Dude N Nem, (whom “Feel” happened to be friends with) caught a break with their hit single “Watch My Feet” in 2007. “Feel” was added to the remix version of the song that also featured Chicago Veteran rapper Twista. Those two versions received heavy radio play and also shined a light on “Feel’s” writing skills with the verse he laid on the remix. When Dude N Nem’s debut album was released in 2009, “Feel” was credited with vocal production on seven songs and he also played piano and organ on many tracks produced by Chicago producer Xcel. Working with Dude N Nem also gave “Feel” the opportunity to be featured in another motion picture, “Just Wright”. “Feet on Fire” (with “Feel” singing the hook), was another track made popular by the group and was also used in the motion picture that starred Chicago rapper/actor Common and Queen Latifah. In light of these great accomplishments and also being on the verge of starting a prosperous career in the Hip Hop and R&B world, “Feel” still felt a sense of emptiness. Emptiness that he tried to fill by diving deeper and deeper into the R&B world. All though he knew that he never quite fit in, he made it a priority to get things to work in his favor. Soon enough though, “Feel” realized that it was, indeed, a lifestyle change that needed to take place to be completely whole; and to release the spirit of shame, loneliness and fear that griped him for years. Once he let go and let God take full control of his life he finally felt that sense of peace. Which later birthed many songs of gratitude, remorse, joy and finally the power that he’s gained through Jesus Christ. Not shame, nor fearful of his transformation, Feeljones took those songs and started working on his debut album Entitled” Jesus. Beats. + Keyboards”, which will be released later in the fall. The lead single, “Sweet Jesus”, is ironically a hard hitting kick drum driven tune that shines a light on how “Feel” likes to represent Jesus. In conclusion, you’ll find out very quickly that being a witness for Jesus Christ is his MO, and he is sticking to it. Be on the lookout for this new young talent that’s bring a new bang to the Kingdom called “Jesus Music”.

I appreciate those that still listen. 🙏🏾
I took a pivot with my approach this last year. I haven’t spent any marketing dollars on campaigning or playlisting for streams and mainly focused on indie radio play and getting knowledge/connecting with ppl through sync. I love the space that I’m in musically and as an artist I’ve been the honest in my content.
Shoutout to , appreciate your platform
Big ups to and for the opp to be apart of their catalog in this sync space. I know placements are coming. 🚀
