Renz and another student were the reasons the BCD Judo Club in Bacolod City, Philippines, reopened in 2020 when they asked for judo lessons to supplement their existing arts (Jiu-jitsu & Kendo). The club has expanded from a one-room shop to a larger gym with many dedicated students over six years.

In 2008, then-mayor Richard M. Daley privatized Chicago’s parking meters to foreign investors for a $1.15 billion payout. As of 2024, investors have already recouped their entire $1.15 billion investment and earned an additional $500-$800 million in profit, with over 55 years still remaining on the lease, while Chicago gets nothing. ***rant over***
