There’s just something special about a sandwich when the bread is homemade — warm, toasty, and sturdy enough to hold a serious stack. This turkey club is piled high with sliced turkey, crisp bacon, lettuce, tomato, and a generous swipe of mayonnaise between three golden slices, so every bite hits with crunch and flavor. Fair warning… it’s less a sandwich and more a delicious commitment, and absolutely worth the mouthful.

Sweet week ahead, so I had to fire up the kitchen and make a couple little gifts from the heart! 💛
Southern pecan pralines for Tuesday’s Mardi Gras celebration, and Cherokee Red French macarons for the wonderful staff and fellow interpreters at the Robie House on Monday while I’m on tour duty. Cherokee Red was a color Frank Lloyd Wright used quite a bit. Sometimes the best way to say “I appreciate you” isn’t with words… it’s with sugar, butter, and a little extra care baked right in.
