Small lenses. Big character. We just added the M 0.8 Lens Series to the Eleven04 lineup. Originally designed as Leica M photography lenses, these optics were cinemodded by Leitz to be a lightweight cinema lens with 0.8 focus/iris rings keeping the small footprint that made M lenses famous.

What makes them special isn’t just the size, it’s the way they render an image. Wide open, they hold fine details with a gentle focus rolloff, rounded highlights, natural softened backgrounds, and subjects separate without feeling artificially sharp. Because these lenses are so compact, they open up possibilities for intimate camera placements that are hard with larger cinema glass. Making gimbals, handheld builds, drones, car rigs, tight interior a breeze. Sometimes the best lens is the one that lets you put the camera somewhere new.

Now available at Eleven04 the IronGlass Soviet MK2 Helios 77m4 50mm. Built from original vintage Soviet optics and fully rehoused by IronGlass, this lens delivers low-contrast imagery, gentle highlight rolloff, and organic rendering that feels immediately filmic on modern sensors.

Out of focus, the 50mm produces textured, painterly bokeh with subtle swirl and smooth falloff. Some of the best Edge-to-edge in the Soviet MK2 set, maintaining soft corners and natural contrast falloff that preserve the vintage feel.

Like the rest of the MK2 set, it features consistent front diameter, modern focus and iris gears, and improved mechanical reliability.
