What a great day at the Reyes Children & Family Center!

More than 120 children had the opportunity to meet former player, Ray McElroy, during a special reading event. Ray quickly won over the crowd, singing songs, reading stories, and creating a fun, interactive experience for the children.

Help us wish longtime El Valor resident, Stanley, a very happy 76th birthday!

Stanley has been part of the El Valor family for more than 37 years, first joining our Workforce Development program and working in janitorial services. During that time, he also lived in one of our residential homes for adults with disabilities, where he still calls home today.

Stanley’s story is just one of thousands across El Valor. Every individual in our program has their own story, interests, and experiences that come together to create the El Valor community.

El Valor was proud to travel to Springfield for Early Childhood Advocacy Day yesterday. Staff and parents from our children’s program had the opportunity to meet with elected officials and advocate for our families and community.

At El Valor, we believe parents are powerful voices for change. Through our programs, families gain the tools, knowledge, and confidence to speak up for the support and resources their children deserve. We are proud to see them leading the way and making their voices heard. 🙌🏼
