Finally...finished! Next project we might look for investors...might.
There are a lots of claims on the internet about the bone broth, so I had to put myself on a trial to either confirm or denounce them.
It has been a little over a month that I have been drinking 8 oz first thing in the morning. The idea at first didn't resonate as I have been drinking coffee for as long as I can remember. However the roasting of the bones gives it a nice smooth roasted flavor which resembles the java I truly enjoy, which makes things definitely easier.
First thing that was obvious, is a general good feeling in the gut area. Bowel functions are excellent, however I won't linger on that subject as I didn't have much issues to begin with.
Second, the skin is definitely nicer. The collagen in the broth could supply the precious protein found in the connective tissues that turns into gelatin when cold. As years go by, we lose collagen which makes the skin age resulting in wrinkles.
(Exercise:Muscle development can stimulate new growth of collagen)
Third, I removed 1 serving of protein a day from my daily intake resulting in a small weight loss while maintaining muscle mass.
I can't comment on improvements in joints pain, the problem is that I don't have any pain to begin with!
So, so far I am fairly satisfied and will continue taking it. If any of you know a person who is afflicted with ulcerative colitis, have them contact me. I will supply free broth for a month to further even more my research.
Also beware of broth wannabes, it should be gelatinous when cold.
The collagen extracted should be plentiful to turn it into jelly. Anything liquid when refrigerated is just not worth buying.
The art of making broth rely on cooking it at least 48 hours. NOTHING LESS.

Wow it has been to long since I shared facts on healthy food, well here you go. Very soon I'll publish something about the black cumin a.k.a Nigella Sativa. I just need to research a little more about this very ancient seed.
Allergy season is upon us, if like myself you would rather not use medication, here are three natural antihistamines you should have in your daily diet:
I will list the highest content in decreasing order.
1) Vitamin C: Kiwis, guavas, parsley, black currants, peppers (red, green), cauliflower, broccoli, lemons and oranges.
A 1992 study found that taking 2 grams vitamin C daily lowered blood histamine levels 38 percent in healthy adults in just 1 week.
2) Quercetin (flavonoid): Black and green tea, ,capers, lovage (taste like celeri, a bit bitte, good in soups), apples, onions (more in the red ones) red grapes, citruses, tomatoes and thank you very much, WINE!
3) Omega 3: Cold water fishes such as salmon, flax seeds and flax sedds oil, Chia seeds, and grass fed meats. Yes corn feeding will lower the Omega 3 in poultry, beef and therefore the by-products like the eggs.
Having studied food preventing cancer for the last year, why and how they work in prevention and which combination might work best, I am not surprised they all are in the list above....Here is your food for thought!
