Congratulations to all the Propeller Fund 2019 Awardees from last night's awards ceremony! We are very excited to back your wonderful projects this year!

Propeller Fund exists to stimulate the growth of independent cultural production throughout Chicago; to encourage more varied models of art production and presentation; to spread artistic activities into more diverse areas; to promote the public’s interaction with and public recognition of such activities of our city; and to spark ambitions beyond current formats.

Propeller Fund awards $50,000 per year to artists and groups for collaborative, public-oriented, artist-led projects that are independent and self-organized. Monetary awards—in amounts ranging from $1,000 to $6,000 are disbursed in direct funds to projects.
