Each spring we invite you to join us in honoring one extraordinary artist with a $30,000 unrestricted 3Arts Award. Your contributions—from $5 and up—make this possible. Every gift counts.

Every year, ten local artists receive $30,000 no-strings-attached 3Arts Awards to support their artistic practices and careers. For over a decade, one of these awards, known as the Community Award, has been funded by people across Chicago (and beyond) joining together to honor an outstanding artist whose presence and work uplift our community. You’re invited to watch, read, or listen to the newest artist conversations in our Disability Culture Leadership Initiative (DCLI), an online platform that elevates the work of Deaf and disabled artists. 

Our DCLI web platform now features fourteen video conversations with artists on a range of topics, with accompanying transcripts that make the content more accessible and better optimized for search engines. The artists featured in these conversations are alumni in the 3Arts/Bodies of Work Residency Program.
