BILLY UPDATE: Healing Takes a Village (and a Lot of Love)
Hey everyone! We wanted to share a much-awaited update on our sweet boy, Billy.
For those who have followed his journey, you know just how touch-and-go things were when he first came into our lives. For those new to Billy, his start was heartbreaking. He suffered from severe GI illness that made it impossible to keep food down, leaving him dangerously thin with his ribs showing. On top of the physical pain, he carried deep emotional trauma, living with severe anxiety and an intense fear of men.
Finding answers wasn't easy. It took endless sleepless nights, countless vet visits, specialist consultations, and emergency room runs just to keep him safe from aspiration.
Today, Billy is doing incredibly well, but his healing is a hands-on, daily labor of love.To keep his body stable and his mind at peace, Billy currently takes six different medications, with some doses given up to four times every single day. It is a round-the-clock commitment, but seeing his resilience makes every single alarm clock and pill pocket completely worth it.
He is finally learning what it feels like to be safe, cherished, and properly cared for.Your generosity is quite literally the lifeline that makes this recovery possible.
The donations from all of you are what allow us to continue supporting the heavy medical needs of Billy and all of our forever fosters. We could not give these vulnerable dogs a second chance at life without your incredible support.Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for cheering Billy on, donating to his care, and standing by our side.
THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING US SAVE BILLY AND ALL OF THE BEAUTIFUL SOULS THAT COME THROUGH OUR RESCUE.

Fireworks are a tradition to celebrate our great nation. But for some of our furry friends its a very scary time. Keep your pups inside during peak firework times. Play you TV or stereo a little louder. Insure your gate is locked before letting them out in the next week or so. Better safe than sorry!
