Sick of simply surviving during long-haul flights?
Do these things to thrive during your long haul flight instead:
1️⃣Game the System - if you’re traveling with a companion, book a window and aisle seat and pray that the middle seat will be empty. If someone does book the middle seat, offer to switch with them when they arrive.
2️⃣Adjust your schedule - No one likes jet lag. Do yourself a favor - download the Timeshifter app and adjust your schedule ahead of time. Enter your flight date and info into the app and it will give you a game plan leading up to your trip.
3️⃣No jet lag pill - speaking of jet lag, grab these No Jet Lag pills from Amazon. Take one after the first in-flight meal and another before landing (but be sure to consult with a doctor for specific medical advice!)
4️⃣Download entertainment ahead of time - Unless you’re into raw-dogging your flight, don’t rely on WiFi. Download some podcasts or movies ahead of time just in case the in-flight entertainment or WiFi doesn’t work.
5️⃣Self-care in the air - Bring some face wipes, some Colgate Wisps, and under-eye masks to help your skin feel better while flying. Nothing zaps your skin worse than airplane air for 10 hours.
6️⃣Keep busy - Nervous flyer? Instead of constantly checking the flight tracker, ease anxiety with noise cancelling headphones and relaxing music or tv shows to occupy your mind.
7️⃣Bring plenty of snackies - I know lots of people that don’t eat plane food and I totally get it! Just make sure you are well prepared with enough quality snacks.
8️⃣Water>Alcohol - DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL. Just don’t
9️⃣Practice the local language - going somewhere new? Download the Duolingo app and practice some common phrases or keywords.
