I finally released this album of oud music that was recorded in my old church apartment in Valparaiso, Indiana in 2023. Titles Nepenthe which is a drug described in Homer’s Odyssey as banishing grief or trouble from a person’s mind. It sort of back to the basics. Oud through loops and effects mostly played live through a Fender Twin Reverb. A little dumbek played by Link to Bandcamp below. Available on all music formats: Apple, Spotify, YouTube, etc.

I will be playing oud with my friend Matt Christensen on guitar this Sunday 12/15/24 at 7:30 at TriTriangle TRITRIANGLE a great performance space in Wicker Park. There are three other artists, we will go on about 8:00pm.

Hello everyone! I picked up this last minute gig with some psych rock acts at Meet and Whiskey in Edgewater next Friday, May 24th 8pm-12am. Should be a good mix of cool music at this newer venue.
