Sad Boy Radio CCL # # : There’s Another Way?

Chicago Artist, D’jari, slides to the studio to discuss working with Josh K & Young Chop, overcoming his past life in the streets, struggles with love, and the importance of R&B.

In the song, “Ghetto Luv” D’Jari sings, “You held me down when ain’t nobody believed in me / she stuck around when everyone up & bailed on me,” D’Jari sings about his perspective on love & the importance of having someone who is dedicated enough to remain go through the highs and the lows with you. Struggling with not only his own attachment issues, but the loss of relationships he had no control over. D’Jari wears his heart on his sleeve, and wants to change the narrative around male vulnerability.

Also discussed: Influence of RNB, Surviving Grief, Struggles with Mental Health.
