Ever wanted to try an authentic Filipino feast spread out on banana leaves and eaten the traditional way (with your hands)? Well now you can. It's this Sat, June 8th at St. Ita’s jubilee Hall. (5500 N. Broadway Ave. Chicago, IL, 60640) Tickets are $30 a person and you'll need to RSVP in advance to [email protected]. All profits will go to St. Ita - St. Tomas of Canterbury’s community programs. Cash bar will be available and you are also welcome to BYOB. Please note that food allergies cannot be accommodated.

The Cub's ⚾home season is officially underway and you'd be crazy to not stop in the ENORMOUS across the street before or after the games. I went to the Grand Opening party thinking it would be just another upscale bowling venue with some food and games, but was blown away with the scope of this place. The games and unique areas just never stopped coming. Only tried a couple bites, but the Smoked Tomato Flatbread stood out to me the most. Also make sure you don't leave without trying "The Addison" a stunner of a cocktail with one of my favorite spirits (St. Germain) paired with Bonney Sapphire and Cointreau.
