Affordable housing in Woodlawn just got a major investment. πŸ™οΈ

LISC provided $6.2 million to Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH) to renovate Island Terrace Apartments, a 240-unit high-rise just steps from the future Obama Presidential Center. After nearly 60 years, the building is getting the upgrades it deserves: modernized plumbing and electrical, refreshed community spaces, and new kitchens and baths.
