Cine-Casting

Thank you everyone for submitting to work on our June Feature Film!

We’ve received OVER A THOUSAND submissions which is significantly more than we need for this particular project. Nevertheless, it’s been a delight reviewing submissions and seeing so many new faces mixed in with some familiar ones 😊

If you haven’t been booked to work yet, don’t fret! Next week (Saturday - Wednesday) we will not be filming with background. We resume filming with our background on Sunday 6/29 through Tuesday 7/8. Therefore, booking emails will likely go out this Sunday 6/22 at the earliest.

At this time all featured background roles have been filled but we are still looking for a DJ (that would be willing to bring their own equipment to set) and kiddos ages 5 - 16 years old. A minor work permit, that is specific to this project, will be required for any kids under the age of 16. For information on how to obtain one, email [email protected] so we can get you set up with the necessary forms.

Thank you for keeping up with the Cine-Casting page these past couple of years!

I’m sure you’ve all heard the good news that the OneChicago shows have been renewed for another season. YAY! Our crews should be trickling back into the office soon with filming for all 3 shows picking up mid July.

This page was originally created to keep you posted on additional background opportunities, projects and resources outside of the OneChicago shows. This past year we experienced some technical difficulties with our Chicago PD/Chicago MED Extras Casting Page so we utilized both platforms to share our casting notices.

Going forward we will return to managing these pages as separate entities. For all things Chicago PD & MED make sure that you’re keeping up with the Chicago PD & Chicago Med Extras Casting Page!

In the meantime, keep an eye on this page if you’d like to work on a feature film that will be shooting in the Chicagoland area between Saturday, June 14th & Monday, July 7th!

*Chicago PD - Featured Background Casting Notice*

To submit, please send an email to [email protected], and use "FATHER OF THE BRIDE" as your subject line. Make sure to include all the following information:

- LEGAL FIRST & LAST NAME (no nicknames, no stage names)

- AGE

- HEIGHT & WEIGHT

- CELL PHONE NUMBER

- ZIP CODE

- MEASUREMENTS
(MALES: Coat/Jacket, T-Shirt, Neck, Sleeve length, Waist, Inseam and Shoe // Example: 44R, t-L, 16.5/33, 34x32, 11)

- VEHICLE: Year, color, make & model

- PHOTOS: Please submit a headshot and a full length photo that reflects your current look (hairstyle, facial hair, etc). NO OUTDATED PHOTOS, NO PROFESSIONAL HEADSHOTS.

- TATTOOS: Please provide photos of ALL tattoos that can be seen in a sleeveless shirt. This includes face/neck, arms, and hands/fingers. If you do not have tattoos, state NO TATTOOS so we don't have to follow up and ask.

ROLE: We are looking for a CAUCASIAN MALE, ROUGHLY MID 60s, to play the highly featured father of the bride at a wedding. The director's decision is going to be made VERY soon, so please send your submission in ASAP. This role may be chosen as early as tonight, but no later than tomorrow afternoon.

WARDROBE FITTING: Monday 3/24 or Tuesday 3/25
FILMING: Monday 3/31
PAY: $129.60/8 + $25 fitting bump
