Love Truth Again

My oldest daughter, middle child, is leaving for college in August. I’m ok (I think) with the graduating high school thing, but I’m REALLY struggling with the going away thing. I wasn’t like that when my son left for school. I’m SO excited for her. I KNOW she will do amazing things and I hope she loves every second of college. But the mom in me understands what my parents went through and I don’t know how they did it! And they never let on they were sad leaving me. Never. And she won’t see me cry, either, but she knows a piece of my heart is leaving with her. And I am, again, wondering how I’m old enough to almost have 2 kids in college and my “baby” almost a licensed driver.
